Rasmus Aamand Olesen is new winemaker to watch in our humble opinion. A Denmark native, he studied and worked in as a biologist before eventually deciding to take to the vine. He, like most others who aren't parented into a location can settle where they feel most at home, for Rasmus this is in Banyuls. Since 2016 there has been a full commitment to viticulture and wine making. Shortly after he decided to make a start of his own (2017), he now oversees a handful of small parcels planted to Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre.
More specifically the cellar is found is Port-Vendres, it's a quaint coastal town at the foothills of the Pyrenees, where the mountains meet the sea. The quote on quote slogan Vins de deux Mains is a connection to one of those things that we, those who appreciate craftsmanship can fully respect; the wine is made with two hands, effort and care & often those family and friends who can spare their hands.
