A medieval sake made from a temple recipe from the early 15th century. Since the recipe and production date back to before the sake revolution in the 7th century, it is more of a fermented rice drink than sake. The production method is much shorter than with most sake, the fermentation takes only 10 days instead of a full month. Terada Honke is the only brewery that makes this form of sake
