Red wine from the Colli Berici, located between Verona and Vicenza. Made from Tai Rosso, distant relative of Grenache, but a long-time indigenous breed in this part of Veneto. Part of the family character can be tasted in the form of dark fruit and laurel, which you also find in Tai Rosso's French cousins. Wine is partly aged in steel and for at least a year in old wood, which also makes it nice and powerful. Light, spicy bitters complete the wine. Very elegant.
