Red mountain wine! Wilfried makes this wine from 75% Carignan Noir, 5% Carignan Blanc and 20% Grenache Noir, all between 3 and 4 days on the skins. Carignan and Grenache are grapes with great potential to create top-heavy wines, but in the hands of Wilfried, high in the mountains, the grapes make a surprisingly fresh wine, but with enough structure to keep you captivated. The wine is slender, digestible and nicely spicy. We are fans, both in summer and in winter.
