Terraced hilltops overlooking the sea. Vines planted in 1898 alive on sand & clay. Vines so intertwined with the local geology that wild herbs, asparagus and beach grasses grow through slits in the wood. Long slow vertical pressing in old basket press, aged 14m in neutral oak. Subtle nose of apricot, rose hip tea and white truffle, leafy green plants & fern. Textural attack and power, subtle mineral finish & point of oxidation.
