Obecanje Vielles Vignes Pinot Noir 2018, Francuska Vinarija

"Obecanje" means promise in Serbian. Very ripe Pinot Noir from a tiny pocket within the domaines 5 hectares, vinified as in Burgundy and aged in Burgundian barrels from Saint Romain. Jam packed with fruit, overripe bramble; caramelised strawberry and blueberry. Ripe tannins that are almost completely melted away. An iron fist in a velvet glove powerful and deep. High tensile wine which hides some surprises.
