Collection: Maxime Crotet

Maxime Crotet is a brand new arrival in the Burgundian wine scene since the release of his first vintage in 2021. Originally from Beaune, he began his training with Frédéric Cossard, winegrower in Saint-Romain for almost 10 years. There he learned the management of vines in organic farming, as well as natural winemaking methods and additive-free vinification. Convinced of this viticulture and winemaking method that respects the environment, the product and the terroir, he set off to purchase similarly grown grapes from the Southern Rhone and the Jura to vinify at his cellar in Burgundy. Having seen very small harvests in Burgundy in 2021, he was only able to produce a few Pinot Noir from Côtes de Nuits. 

The 2022 & 2023 vintages have followed Maxime's promise to expand even further into Burgunsy, exploring new terroirs, villages and varieties. Many exciting things to come from this young winemaker.
